Dining Table Loom, 2014
The Dining Table Loom was designed and fabricated in collaboration with Tyler Howorth. The loom accommodates 6 to 8 people and imitates the feeling
of sitting down at a dinner table, encouraging social interaction and community. In an age where we are so connected virtually it is important to build community around something physical. The Dining Table Loom has been featured at Pioneer Works, The ACE Hotel, Building 92 at the Brooklyn Navy Yard, The British International School, The Queens Museum of Art as well as smaller art shows and private corporate events. We invite participatory weavers to bring their own materials allowing the diversity of the materials to become a reflection of the community.
